Karen has a BA from Wellesley College, an MBA from Columbia University, and she recently received an MA in Medieval Studies from Columbia. She is currently working on a series of articles entitled "The Medieval Church and The Modern Corporation."

Karen is an avid theatre goer and poker player — "What a great way to learn about irrational triggers!"

She lives in New York City with her son, Jack, a 15-year-old soccer player and Xbox fan.
